CEDPA Alumni: Connecting Online   
Feb. 15, 2007 — CEDPA has launched a new Online Alumni Community Web portal to provide a virtual gathering place for our more than 5,000 training alumni in over 150 countries worldwide. CEDPA has held high quality and participatory training workshops for over 30 years to build confidence among women, men and youth to lead, direct successful organizations, and build community support for improving the lives of women and girls. Our alumni are improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of people each day. They are also leading change at the highest levels of their nations, including as vice presidents, ministers and parliamentarians. CEDPA’s new password-secured site gives alumni the ability to connect with one another as they work to improve their communities. Alumni can look up contact information for other CEDPA alumni, engage in online discussions with one another through a discussion board, and search for technical and professional resources. An added benefit is a new “Ask an Expert” series that will allow alumni to seek advice from experienced guests and CEDPA staff.
