Afghanistan President Recognizes CEDPA Advisor   
Feb. 18, 2006—Afghanistan President Hamid Karzi awarded the High Level Government medal to Jim Griffin, a senior health advisor for CEDPA’s Technical Advisors in AIDS, Child Survival, Infectious Diseases, Population and Basic Education (TAACS) program. The Feb. 18 award recognized Griffin’s role in reconstructing Afghanistan’s health sector and help in developing the Ministry of Public Health’s capacity. Griffin has worked on the TAACS program since 2002, which is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. |
