International Development Expert Mary McClymont Appointed to CEDPA Board of Directors
McClymont is a recognized expert and opinion leader on issues of international development, humanitarian relief and human rights. She has provided expert testimony and advocated on a range of critical international issues to top U.S. government and United Nations officials, including the U.S. Congress, Secretary of State, Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the National Security Advisor. Currently a consultant to major philanthropic foundations, McClymont was most recently president of InterAction, the largest alliance of U.S.-based international development and humanitarian nongovernmental organizations. She also served as a senior executive at the Ford Foundation, and as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and the American Civil Liberties Union, among other distinguished posts. “It is truly a pleasure to welcome Mary McClymont to the CEDPA Board of Directors,” said Yolonda C.
