In 2006, the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) worked hand-in-hand with over 130 community organizations and other partners who shared our belief that women and girls are critical for advancing global development, democracy and progress. Together, we reached more than one million women and girls—and supportive men and boys—to give them the knowledge and tools to improve their lives and strengthen their communities.
